Fourth Sunday of Easter
Shepherd your Church, O God,
guide us and give us courage to proclaim the Gospel to others.
We pray to the Lord.
Our Shepherd is the Lord,
may leaders in the United States, the Middle East, Ukraine, Russia, Sudan,
Israel, Iran and throughout the world seek ways of peace together.
We pray to the Lord.
Lord, you are our shepherd, rock and refuge,
give strength to all who struggle with addictions, with illness and with the pain that may come from speaking our truth.
We pray to the Lord.
Shepherd of Love,
let the sway of influencers, politicians and media be washed away
by your call to love all our sisters and brothers, embracing diversity and healing discord.
We pray to the Lord.
Our Shepherd and Guide,
send your Spirit in abundance on our Confirmandi.
Fill them with your wisdom, courage, knowledge and understanding.
May they live always in the freedom of the children of God.
We pray to the Lord.
Shepherd of our hearts,
open our hearts to all who struggle this day,
our lost, our misunderstood,
and those feel unheard, betrayed or alone. We pray to the Lord.
Good Shepherd,
feed the hungry, give shelter to those without homes,
and may the unemployed and underemployed find appropriate work.
We pray to the Lord.
Shepherd of Souls,
lead
(Insert Names)
and all who have died into your kingdom.
We pray to the Lord.
