Fourth Sunday of Easter

Fourth Sunday of Easter

For our Church,
May we be witnesses of God’s love and compassion for all people,
especially in times of challenge and ridicule.
We pray to the Lord.

For peace in our world, in our country, in our hearts.
We pray to the Lord.

For courage to preach the gospel
to tyrants, dictators, bullies
and all who arrogantly believe in their own supremacy.
We pray to the Lord.

For our sisters and brothers who know
more fear than freedom,
more loss than life,
more sorrow than joy.
We pray to the Lord.

For an end to polarization and division.
For a willingness embrace a diversity of opinions and experiences,
seeking truth and justice for all.
We pray to the Lord.

For mothers, grandmothers, step mother, godmothers and all the women who nurture us.
For joy, health, peace.
We pray to the Lord.

For the support of the common good in place of selfish interests,
for an openness to community
and care for those considered least, lost or less important.
We pray to the Lord.

For all who have died,
for (Insert Names).
may they live now in the joy of heaven.
We pray to the Lord.
