For our Church,
For hearts open to the challenge of the gospel.
We pray to the Lord.
For wisdom to hear the words of prophets in our midst,
We pray to the Lord.
For forgiveness in place of revenge,
For acceptance in place of bigotry,
For a willingness to listen to the stories of others,
We pray to the Lord.
For all victimized by bullying,
For those struggling with addictions or depression,
We pray to the Lord.
For all who suffer in the cold,
For all who live on our streets and in shelters,
We pray to the Lord.
For willingness to place the gospel above all competing values,
We pray to the Lord.

And for all who have died,
For eternal peace,
We pray to the Lord.
