Come Holy Spirit,
from your celestial home
shed your divine light upon your pilgrim Church.
We pray to the Lord.
Come Holy Spirit,
Look with care on our poor, those without housing or jobs,
the victims of famine, flood and all those in need.
Unseal the storehouses of bounty.
We pray to the Lord.
Come Holy Spirit,
Bend stubborn hearts,
heal ancient wounds,
wash away stains of guilt,
renew our strength.
We pray to the Lord.
Come Holy Spirit,
Guide steps that go astray;
bring solace to all in the midst of woe.

Teach us to dance in your grace,
embrace the blessings of each day
and trust in your power and wisdom.

Transform hearts.
May we rejoice in diversity, celebrate our gifts,
and always be open to your call to change and grow in new ways.

On the faithful,
may your seven-fold gifts descend
and shine your light within our hearts.
Guide us to be beacons of love in the midst of hatred and division.

Come Holy Spirit, Comforter,
give the dead virtue’s sure reward.
