Twenty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

For our Church,
may we serve the world in humility.
We pray to the Lord.

For our earth,
May we protect and sustain the resources and beauty God has given us.
We pray to the Lord.

For our sisters and brothers in Ukraine, Gaza and throughout the Holy Land,
In Haiti, Sudan, Mali
For all victims of war, famine and conflict..
We pray to the Lord.

For a willingness to be a voice of peace,
For courage to speak truth,
For wisdom in times of discernment.
We pray to the Lord.

For teachers and students,
For school years filled with learning, challenge and growth,
With safety, opportunity, fun and friendship.
We pray to the Lord.

For workers in our fields and factories,
In schools, stores and warehouses
For all who clean, cook and keep us safe,
For all who labor,
For just wages, health care and safe working conditions.
We pray to the Lord.

And all who have died.
We pray to the Lord.
