Twenty-Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time
With praise and thanksgiving
let the Church proclaim God’s love for all,
whether convenient or inconvenient.
We pray to the Lord.
With full hearts and minds and voices,
may Christians and all people of good will
cry out for justice for the poor, bread for the hungry,
and an end to war and violence.
We pray to the Lord.
With trust in the truth of the Gospel,
may refugees, immigrants and all who seek a homeland,
find welcome, respect and acceptance.
We pray to the Lord.
With ears to hear,
may the Scriptures reprove, correct and train us in holiness.
We pray to the Lord.
With hope and trust in your will
may all who struggle in body, mind or spirit find healing and peace.
We pray to the Lord.
With patience and perseverance,
may prayer guide us into a closer relationship with you, O Lord.
We pray to the Lord.
With faith in the resurrection,
may (Insert Names)
and all who have died,
be welcomed into the new and eternal Jerusalem.
We pray to the Lord.
Prayer of the Faithful content may be used in whole or in part as part of the liturgy at any church, but they may not be copied and published online without prior written permission.
