Twenty – Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time

For the Church of (insert diocese) and throughout the world.
For a spirit of hopefulness.
For an attitude of gratitude.
For joy and hospitality.
We pray to the Lord.

For justice, for peace,
for a world based on the inherent dignity of every person in every place.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who are considered last, least, or less important.
For all who are bullied and teased.
For all who are discredited and ignored.
For all whose voice is stifled.
We pray to the Lord.

For political prisoners, refugees and freedom fighters.
For all who proclaim truth to power.
We pray to the Lord.

For a spirit of munificence,
may we not be envious because God is generous.
We pray to the Lord.

For an openness to conversion,
may our thoughts be like God’s thoughts and
our ways like the Lord’s ways.
We pray to the Lord.

For all who have died
(Insert Names).
May they live in eternal peace.
We pray to the Lord.
