Almighty God,
With strong hand and outstretched arm,
empower your Church to boldly speak for righteousness, abide in mercy and act in love.
we pray to the Lord.
Jesus, Bread of Life,
open our hands to our hungry,
provide clean water to all who thirst,
and shower blessings upon farmers and all who work the land.
we pray to the Lord.
Spirit of Truth,
guide the work of journalists, influencers, reporters, commentators
and all who share news of our world.
May they do so in integrity and honesty.
we pray to the Lord.
Creating God,
give us vision to see your goodness and beauty
in all of creation, in all people, in ourselves.
we pray to the Lord.
Son of justice,
release those oppressed by poverty, condemned by hatred
and held captive in the chains of fear.
Heal ancient wounds and end war and terror.
We are mindful of our sisters and brothers in Ukraine, Sudan, Haiti, Iran, Gaza,
Lebanon and throughout the Middle East.

Spirit of Wisdom,
open to us your storehouse of understanding, prudence and sincerity of heart.
