Risen Lord, guide and protector,
Give your Church that joy beyond our understanding.
We pray to the Lord.

lead us on by your light to the kingdom.

send blessings on our mothers, grandmothers,
Godmothers, stepmothers, mothers-in-law,
and all those women who have mirrored your love for us.

Risen Lord, Good Shepherd,
call out to the lost, reach out to the broken,
gather into your arms
all those damaged by the pains of this world.

with patience and mercy transform the minds world leaders;

Risen Lord, who too has known suffering,
Grant all the sick
peace from their pain and comfort from their afflictions.
