Living as the Church, may we be a people of humility, gentleness and patience.
We pray to the Lord.
God of the outcast,
Draw near to all who are excluded and marginalized,
Wrap them in love and lead them to a haven of safety.

We pray for bread for the hungry,
Clean water for all who thirst,
Healing for our sick
And peace for the nations.
We pray to the Lord.
For Christian communities throughout the world,
may we who profess one Lord and one Baptism,
walk together in solidarity and witness to the world.

For the work of our outreach centers,
warming shelters and all places
that care for our homeless, unemployed and all in need of assistance.
We pray to the Lord.
May we bear with one another in love,
And preserve unity through the bond of peace.
