Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord
Bestow on your Church,
compassion and mercy,
faithfulness and hope..
we pray to the Lord.
May we see your face in our poor and sick,
in our immigrants and refugees,
in the bullied and powerless of our world.
we pray to the Lord.
Banish those who would wield terror and hatred.
Comfort and protect their victims and all who live in fear.
May princes and presidents bow low to your way of justice and peace.
we pray to the Lord.
Heal our world, rent apart and divided.
Renew in all people a spirit of unity in diversity
and acceptance and love for all.
we pray to the Lord.
Send a Spirit of protection on all who this day struggle with suicide,
with unworthiness,
with pain that no one can see.
we pray to the Lord.
In this holy week,
may our prayer be sincere,
our silence and fasting an offering of our minds and wills.
Change us. Heal us. Transform us.
we pray to the Lord.
Gentle shepherd,

and all the departed into paradise.
