Mass of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Thursday)

Prayer of the Faithful for the Mass of the Lord’s Supper

May we glory in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
for through him we are saved and made free.
We pray to the Lord.

Lamb of God, take away the stain of the sin of this world,
And grant us peace.
We pray to the Lord.

You humbled yourself by being obedient even to accepting death, death on a cross,
Open our hearts and hands to humbly serve our God and others.
We pray to the Lord.

May all who join together in your holy Eucharist, become one body, healed of all division.
We pray to the Lord.

Salvation of outcasts and the poor,
Be with refugees and all who live in places of war and terror.
Draw near to our sisters and brothers in Ukraine and the Holy Land.
We pray to the Lord.

You went up to Jerusalem to suffer and so enter into your glory,
Look with favor on our brothers and sisters who suffer in mind, spirit or body,
We pray to the Lord.

Transform the bodies of the dead to be like your own in glory,
and bring us at last into their fellowship.
We pray to the Lord.
