Breathe new life upon your church.
May Francis our Pope and all our bishops
Lead with integrity and wisdom.
We pray to the Lord.
Come O Lord of Might,
With strong arm transform this world.
Write your law upon the hearts of presidents, kings and prime ministers.
May they serve with a preferential option for our poor.
We pray to the Lord.
Come O Root of Jesse,
Transform the values of our world.
May our hungry be fed. May our homeless find shelter.
May the lonely find friendship.
We pray to the Lord.
Come O Key of David,
Unlock hearts turned cold by the chill of pain and despair.
Open wide gates of opportunity for those marginalized.
Make us agents of justice.
We pray to the Lord.
Come O Radiant Dawn,
Illumine your Church.
May we who acknowledge your great light
Shine brightly for all who dwell in the land of gloom.
We pray to the Lord.
Come O King of Nations,
Inaugurate your reign of peace upon the earth.
We pray to the Lord.
Come O Emmanuel,
Be our God with us.
Comfort those who mourn.
Draw near to all our dying.
