Fifth Sunday of Easter

Fifth Sunday of Easter

For the Church, spread throughout the world,
For the courage to preach the gospel of love,
whether convenient or inconvenient,
popular or challenging.
We pray to the Lord.

For an end to bitterness, vengeance and hostility.
For hearts open to all people, of every race, language, nation and way of life.
May we truly love one another.
We pray to the Lord.

For an end to the war and conflict
in Ukraine, the Holy Land, Haiti, Sudan, India & Pakistan and throughout the world.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who are lost, for those who live without hope,
For those who live with injustice,
For the power the resurrection in their lives.
We pray to the Lord.

For all who repair our roads, clean our neighborhoods, teach us and keep us safe.
For all who work for the common good.
We pray to the Lord.

For a renewal of our Baptismal conviction:
That God is our God and we are God’s people,’
We pray to the Lord.

For those who celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation this weekend.
May the gifts of the Spirit fill them.
May they revel in the joy of God’s love for them.
May their lives give witness to the Gospel of compassion, inclusion and peace.
We pray to the Lord.

For all who have died,
(Insert Names)
May they sing with the angels their Easter song of joy.
We pray to the Lord.
