Feast of the Holy Family
The Lord is come!
May our Church be a haven for our lonely and lost,
a place of care for our poor,
and a sanctuary of kindness for all who are burdened.
We pray to the Lord.
May refugees, immigrants and travelers find safety, shelter and welcome.
We pray to the Lord.
May the peace of Christ live in our hearts and transform the priorities of this world.
We pray to the Lord.
May kindness, humility, gentleness and patience,
fill our nation, our lives and our families.
We pray to the Lord.
May all whose houses are places of violence of body, mind or spirit,
find new homes of protection, support and love.
We pray to the Lord.
May families separated by jealousy, closed minds or hard hearts,
be healed by forgiveness, mercy and understanding.
We pray to the Lord.
May we learn to put on compassion and live in a spirit of thankfulness,
appreciating one another in all our beautiful diversity.
We pray to the Lord.
The Lord is come,
may (Insert Names)
and all our beloved dead,
sing forever with the angels their Christmas song of joy.
We pray to the Lord.
