Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time
May our Church embrace diversity, inculturation and inclusion.
May we rejoice that our faith finds expression
in a variety of styles and traditions.
We pray to the Lord.
May all the nations of the world seek ways of peace together.
We remain mindful of our sisters and brothers
in Ukraine, Haiti, Lebanon, Gaza, Iran, Yemen,
throughout the Middle East,
Myanmar, Sudan,
and all places of war and terror.
We pray to the Lord.
May meanness, angry speech and embittered actions cease.
May all people know dignity and respect at all times, in all places.
We pray to the Lord.
May our lives reflect our faith.
In times of joy and sorrow, abundance and struggle,
may we trust in the Lord with all our heart.
We pray to the Lord.
May we who bear the name of disciple love all people as Jesus did,
embracing differences in gender, race, language,
orientation and national origin.
We pray to the Lord.
May we truly be a welcoming community,
where the love of Jesus Christ guides our attitudes and actions.
We pray to the Lord.
May all who have died,
(Insert Names)
sing forever in the community of all the saints.
We pray to the Lord.
Prayer of the Faithful content may be used in whole or in part as part of the liturgy at any church, but they may not be copied and published online without prior written permission.
