Hear the cry of your Church, O Lord,
Root us in your love.
Let us see with your eyes, and hear with your ears,
We pray to the Lord.
Lord of all power and might,
Remove from this world
greed and self-indulgence
covetousness and materialism.
We pray to the Lord.
Prune our hearts, Gracious God,
Let our worship be sincere,
Our love genuine,
And may our motives be embedded in the gospel,
We pray to the Lord.
Spirit of the Living God,
Breathe a breath of unity and compassion upon all humanity,
Heal division, discord and discrimination,
We pray to the Lord.
Lord of all Hopefulness,
Light a fire of justice deep within us,
And let zeal for your gospel consume us.
We pray to the Lord.
Great Physician,
Heal our bodies, minds and souls,
Bring solace to grief and guidance in time of trial,
We pray to the Lord.
Loving God,
Guide (insert names)
And all the dead to your eternal kingdom
We pray to the Lord.
