Performance anxiety is something that many musicians face, including liturgical musicians. In this video, Steve Petrunak discusses the three main things that cause performance anxiety and how it can impact musicians both mentally and physically.

In part two of this video, Steve will share some practical tips for managing performance anxiety.

Steve Petrunak is a founding board member of CLEF and recently retired as the director of music at St. Blase Catholic Church in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He has worked in music ministry for more than 40 years and is the co-author of “Managing Music Ministry: Beyond Notes and Chords.”
