Open our ears, Lord.
Let your Church hear the voice of our poor, our addicted, our abused,
All our vulnerable sisters and brothers.
We pray to the Lord.
Bring peace to our world,
Heal ancient wounds and quell the quest for power.
Be mindful of our sisters and brothers in Ukraine and the Holy Land.
We pray to the Lord.
Strength hearts that are frightened
By illness, poverty, thirst or loneliness.
Surround them with your mercy.
We pray to the Lord.
Send your Spirit of love upon the earth.
Break open our hearts and remove selfishness, self-centeredness
And the insecurity that masks itself as independence.
Guide us to choose for others and the common good.
We pray to the Lord.
Unlock our voices and fill us with a spirit of courage
That we may speak your truth to power and cry out for justice for all.
We pray to the Lord.
Renew in us your vision for the world:
A place of freedom and love,
Where all your children join hands in equality and trust.
We pray to the Lord.
Guide our beloved dead,
