Twenty – Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time
For a spirit of prophecy in the church,
May we discern the will of God and boldly proclaim it.
We pray to the Lord.
For peace in our world,
For healing of the nations,
For solidarity in justice
and commitment to support our vulnerable sisters and brothers,
in the Holy Land, in Ukraine, in Haiti, in Sudan.
We pray to the Lord.
For workers,
For just wages, health care, and safe environments.
We pray to the Lord.
For all who follow the idols of money, luxury and pleasure,
For those who cheat others, or seek power to control and manipulate,
For repentance, renewal and a return to the Gospel.
We pray to the Lord.
For migrants and refugees,
For all who seek a homeland,
For safety, for acceptance, for hope.
We pray to the Lord.
For an openness to conversion,
For a willingness to embrace diversity,
For a deeper growth in the spirit and ways of Christ.
We pray to the Lord.
For (Insert Names)
And all who have died.
May they sing with the saints and angels this day.
We pray to the Lord.
