Twenty-Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time
Lord, increase our faith. With all our hearts, may your Church always follow you.
Teach us to pray, always.
We pray to the Lord.
Heal of our every ill,
bind up hearts broken down by pain, hunger or loss.
Teach us to prefer your way of justice above all else.
We pray to the Lord.
In places of violence, enfold all who suffer in your protecting arms and destroy brutality, cruelty and aggression.
We remain mindful of our sisters and brothers
in Ukraine, Sudan, Haiti, Gaza and throughout the Middle East.
We pray to the Lord.
Showers your blessings on
our warming centers, soups kitchens and outreach programs.
Be with all who suffer from hurricane, typhoon and flood.
We pray to the Lord.
Soften hardened hearts, Compassionate One.
May we respect life in our wonderous diversity and abilities,
From conception to natural death.
We pray to the Lord.
Challenge us, purify us, form us
into a people eager to do what is right.
We pray to the Lord.
Loving God,
guide (Insert Names)
and all our dead
to their place at the heavenly banquet.
We pray to the Lord.
