Twenty – Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time
For wisdom in our church.
Guide us to prefer her above power and privilege.
We pray to the Lord.
For a respect for all life that permeates our actions.
We are mindful of the not yet born, our elders,
all who live with mental illnesses,
and our sisters and brothers who find themselves alone this day.
We pray to the Lord.
For an end to the admiration of wealth and veneration of possessions.
Help us to live the Gospel vision of the Reign of God.
We pray to the Lord.
For victims of abuse and violence, both our children and adults.
May they find safety and healing.
We pray to the Lord.
For hearts that live beyond laws.
May our actions be based on love and commitment to Christ.
We pray to the Lord.
For a deep fidelity to our Baptism.
May our discipleship be our rock, truth and foundation for our choices.
We pray to the Lord.
For our beloved dead,
(Insert names).
May they now rest in the peace of the Lord.
We pray to the Lord.
Prayer of the Faithful content may be used in whole or in part as part of the liturgy at any church, but they may not be copied and published online without prior written permission.
