Thirty – Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

For wisdom in our Church,
may she dwell in our hearts and minds.
We pray to the Lord.

For wisdom in our newly elected officials,
may they discern the path that leads
to true freedom, justice, and dignity for all.
We pray to the Lord.

For wisdom that leads hearts away from war, prejudice and violence
to a place of peace, healing, acceptance and community.
We pray to the Lord.

For wisdom in times of fear, hardship, suffering, depression,
or when evil thoughts cloud people’s judgments.
We pray to the Lord.

For wisdom to choose the way of the gospel,
amid the swirl of conflicting values and demands.
We pray to the Lord.

For wisdom to discern the creative adventures of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We pray to the Lord.

For wisdom when those we love are called to sleep in death.
We remember (Insert Names)
and all the faithful departed.
We pray to the Lord.
