Purify your Church.
Strip away all that is not your will
and guide us to be people of justice, truth and compassion.

In a world of conflict and division,
may enemies begin to speak to one another
and those estranged join hands in friendship.

Let us be mindful of all who struggle this day
for food, safety, clean water and shelter.

For the gift of hospitality to friend, foe and stranger.

Strengthen us to boldly live our discipleship:
to protect victims of bullying, terrorism, hatred and prejudice,
to be voices of peace in the midst of discord,
to demonstrate your love when hatred seeks to demean or dominate.
We pray to the Lord.
Make our hearts open to daily acts of generosity,
daily prayer,
daily joys, simple pleasures and time to bask in your loving care.
We pray to the Lord.
For all who have died,
