Third Sunday in Ordinary Time
For the Church,
may we have courage to
proclaim glad tidings to our poor,
liberty to the captives
and let the oppressed go free.
We pray to the Lord.
For a renewed sense of community in our world,
for selflessness and humility
that we may care for our most vulnerable members.
We pray to the Lord.
For our sisters and brothers
who make their home on our streets and in shelters,
who struggle with heat, houselessness and health.
and for all who suffer from storm, flood or disaster.
We pray to the Lord.
For all who are immigrants, refugees and runaways,
for our hungry, and all who suffer from abuse.
We pray to the Lord.
For a spirit of joy and unabashed delight in the Lord,
may we revel in the many blessings bestowed upon us.

for a willingness to honor one another
and celebrate our unique gifts and insights.
