Holy Spirit,
guide your church that we may live in the freedom of the children of God.
We pray to the Lord.
Son of justice,
Release those oppressed by poverty,
condemned by hatred
and held captive in the chains of fear.
We pray to the Lord.
Almighty God,
Give us knowledge of your ways of truth,
compassion to hear the cry of the marginalized and
courage to speak truth to power.
We pray to the Lord.
Spirit of wisdom,
Shower your wisdom on all our graduates.
Rejoice with them as the celebrate their achievements
And guide their lives, their work and their play.
We pray to the Lord.
O Sacred Heart,
Send blessings on our fathers, grandfathers, godfathers, step-fathers,
fathers-in-law and all the men who nurture us.
Fill them with joy, peace and all good things.
We pray to the Lord.
Creating Father,
Renew with us your promise of love.
Guide us to embrace the diversity with which you graced our world,
and may we cherish our neighbors and ourselves as your beloved daughters and sons.
Most Holy Trinity,

and all the departed into the light of your presence.
