Prayer of the Faithful for the Second Sunday of Lent (Cycle B)
As some call for vengeance,
may the Church boldly proclaim mercy and forgiveness,
We pray to the Lord.
For all who hunger this day for food, water and shelter
For all who suffer from abuse, trafficking and violence,
We pray to the Lord.
For all who seek to be understood,
For all who long to be accepted and loved,
We pray to the Lord.
For collaboration in place of competition,
For unity in place of uniformity,
We pray to the Lord.
For eyes opened to the truth of the gospel,
In the midst of competing values and allegiances
We pray to the Lord.
We pray to the Lord.
For all who now rest in eternal peace

We pray to the Lord.
