Cleanse, O God, your Church.
Fill us with courage to boldly proclaim your gospel of love
in the midst of fear, bitterness, division and selfishness.
We pray to the Lord.
God of all people, transform the nations.
May we rise above vanity, the quest for power and the tribulation of war.
We pray to the Lord.
Spirit of Justice,
Breathe conversion into the minds and hearts of all
who place their trust in possessions,
their hope in money,
their happiness in domination, command and control.
We pray to the Lord.
Help us, O Lord, to stop lying to each other and ourselves.
teach us to eradicate greed and envy.
We pray to the Lord.
Almighty One,
strike from our hearts complacency, blind ignorance
and self-centeredness.
Infuse us with mercy, compassion and the truth which is rooted in you.
We pray to the Lord.
Compassionate Lord,
purify us, sustain us,
remove from our midst bitterness, ambition and materialism.
We pray to the Lord.
Holy Spirit,
