Second Sunday of Easter
Fill your Church, O Lord, with an abundance of Easter joy.
Make us a light to all people and a sign of the lavishness of your love.
We pray to the Lord.
Be near to our sisters and brothers in Iran, Lebanon, Haiti,
in Ukraine, Sudan, Myanmar,
in all places where there is conflict, hunger or terror.
Rain down your peace and justice.
We pray to the Lord.
We pray for all who hide behind violence and intimidation,
and all whose fear and pain breed viciousness and aggression.
Free them by your love, risen Jesus, and heal all their pain.
We pray to the Lord.
Make us mindful of the needs of all our sisters and brothers.
May we learn to share generously with one another
according to each one’s needs, for all is a gift from you.
We pray to the Lord.
For delight in our days, for hope in the future, for sincerity of heart.
May the discipline of our Lenten journeys
now bear abundant fruit this Easter time.
We pray to the Lord.
Holy Spirit breathe new life into our newly baptized and confirmed.
Fill them with your gifts
and bring them the peace beyond all understanding.
We pray to the Lord.
Let your community of love grow forth from this place.
May we truly be welcoming and loving,
Singing your praises and caring for all.
We pray to the Lord.
May our dead, (Insert Names)
Live forever in the new and eternal Jerusalem
We pray to the Lord.
