Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Renew your Church, O Lord,
may we demonstrate our baptismal commitment
by our faith, love, patience and gentleness.
We pray to the Lord.

Send healing to your world,
that war may end,
our hungry may be fed
and all who thirst may have clean and safe water in abundance.
We pray to the Lord.

For all who suffer from fire, flood and earthquake,
from hatred, discrimination or bullying.
We pray to the Lord.

We pray for all whose hearts and actions are hardened against those in need,
all who exchange people for profit
and strive for political gain and wealth instead of caring for others.
We pray to the Lord.

Teach our world to prefer compassion over comfort,
justice over supremacy,
peace over power.
We pray to the Lord.

Open our eyes, Merciful One.
let us see as you see.
May we support our sisters and brothers who struggle
in body, mind or spirit. we pray to the Lord..
We pray to the Lord.
