We pray to the Lord.

We remember all people who strive for liberty and freedom

We are mindful of the work of the United Nations and
pray they may conduct their affairs with honesty
and their deliberations in truthfulness.
We pray to the Lord.

We remember our baptismal promise to serve God alone.
May we reject the compulsion to seek money,
quest after fame, or offer over our dignity for power in this world.
We pray to the Lord.

We remember the lonely, homebound, forgotten and abandoned.
May the Lord restore tranquility, companionship
and hope to their lives.
