Third Sunday of Easter
May the Church be a beacon of hope in the darkness;
may our faith in the resurrection drive out despair.
We pray to the Lord.
May peace pervade our hearts and our world.
We remain mindful of our sisters and brother in Iran, Lebanon, Ukraine,
in Sudan, Haiti and throughout the Middle East.

May world leaders, lawmakers, CEOs and judges,
work for the common good,
support our poor, hungry and refugees,
and seek to build a new way where all people live in dignity.
We pray to the Lord.
May we relinquish ties to
selfishness, self-centeredness, greed and the quest for power.
May we embrace the new life and new vison of the Gospel.
We pray to the Lord.
May our children who join with us in the Eucharistic Banquet for the first time,
be nourished by the life and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
