Sixth Sunday of Easter

Sixth Sunday of Easter

May the Church, filled with the Holy Spirit, be a beacon of God’s love for all humanity.
We pray to the Lord.

May genuine love inspire leaders in our world to work for justice,
And abandon self-serving agendas and personal gain.
We pray to the Lord.

May we recognize, love and support,
the diversity with which God blesses all creation.
We pray to the Lord.

May our world abolish hatred, destroy apathy,
eliminate prejudice
and strive to love one another as Jesus taught.
We pray to the Lord.

May we learn to love ourselves,
as images and mediators of authentic love in a broken world.
We pray to the Lord.

May our sick, know God’s abiding love for them.
We pray to the Lord.

May the love of God console us in times of sorrow,
Guide us in times of struggle and uncertainty,
Rejoice with us in the beauty of each day.
We pray to the Lord.

May
(Insert Names),
and all the dead,
live forever in the kingdom of our loving Savior.
We pray to the Lord.

Prayer of the Faithful content may be used in whole or in part as part of the liturgy at any church, but they may not be copied and published online without prior written permission.
