Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time
For our Church,
May we boldly proclaim the good news in new ways, in new places,
reaching out to all who need to hear the message of love and hope.
We pray to the Lord.
For an end to hatred, prejudice and discrimination in all its forms.
For the courage to embrace your command of love.
We pray to the Lord.
For the people of Ukraine, of the Holy Land,
For our sisters and brothers in Haiti and Sudan,
For peace with justice,
And for all who are hardened to this prayer.
We pray to the Lord.
When women are attacked and demeaned,
When children are trafficked and abused,
When families are left cold and hungry,
Open our hearts, O Lord, and guide us to change laws, policies and attitudes.
We pray to the Lord.
For an openness to follow where God leads,
For an eagerness to answer the call to lay ministry, the diaconate or priesthood.
We pray to the Lord.
For a willingness to grow in our relationship with the Lord.
We pray to the Lord.
For (Insert Names)
and all who have died,
We pray to the Lord.
