Twenty – Third Sunday in Ordinary Time
May the prophets in our Church freely speak
against injustice, hatred and all that violates the law of love.
We pray to the Lord.
May the voice of activists throughout the world be heard
by all governments in need of reform.
We pray to the Lord.
May we have ears to hear the voice of God in our brothers and sisters,
as they speak the truth of our sinfulness.
We pray to the Lord.
May we build healthy relationships,
forgiving and asking for forgiveness,
discussing our differences and listening to each other.
May we simply love all people as the Lord himself commanded us.
We pray to the Lord.
May all students and teachers,
grow in wisdom, knowledge and insight.
May classrooms be places of curiosity, creativity and community.
For a wonderful school year,
We pray to the Lord.
May all workers find
just wages, fair working conditions,
health care and employment attuned to God’s gifts and call.
We pray to the Lord.
May the dead be raised to new life,
we remember (Insert Names).
We pray to the Lord.
